Taste Good

An OG Malaysian spot that has been around since at least the early 80s. My go-to dish is their beef rendang which still tastes the same 30+ years later.

Taiwanese Gourmet

Another OG Elmhurst spot but management has sinced changed. Grilled pork chop over rice and clams in basil sauce are my go-to’s.

Tong Fuchka Truck

The perfect late night snack to-go, located on the corner of 73rd & 37 Avenue. The Doi Fuchka is pictured here and the spot is super busy in the late night hours.

Dosa Hutt

Everyone talks about the temple basement canteen but real ones know that Dosa Hutt around the corner is where it’s at. Dosas, idlis, vadais - you know the drill.

Zaab Zaab

A Thai spot located along Woodside Avenue, in an area affectionately called Little Thailand, that focuses on Isaan/Northeastern Thai cuisine. The crying tiger dish is a must.

Phayul

They now have a 2nd spacious location across the way but this is pure comfort food! Tibetan momos and delicious noodles!

New Lake Pavilion

My friend Lisa introduced me to this gem of a spot. Perfect for dim sum or when a late night craving hits, which in that case, the dungeness crab fried sticky rice is perfect.
